Ball Caps & Sweet Treats

Hello! I sure hope that everyone had a wonderful week. I know that I did (for the most part)! On Thursday, April 22nd, 2010, I got sent home early from daycare because I got sick. Mommy had to leave work early to come home and take care of me because daddy was already taking Friday off to take care of me since daycare was closed that day. Mommy thinks that it was just teething because I did not get sick any more and acted fine as soon as I got home. Hahaha....little did they know, I just wanted to come home. LOL! Things are changing in my life at the beginning of May...last week, my daycare lady, Katora, sent a letter home to daddy and mommy that announced April 29th, 2010, would be the last day she was open. She is closing for good so she can go back to school. I'm really sad because I really like Katora. Mommy was really sad too. She had to start back at square one and find knew sitters for me...which isn't an easy task, especially in a small town. This will be my THIRD daycare in less than a year. UGH! I sure hope I like the knew one I'm going too! I will start Tiny Tykes daycare, owned by Jill Bracelin on May 3rd, 2010. For right now, I can only go on Monday's because that's the only day Jill has open right now. But coming up, hopefully in June, I will be going on Thursday's and Friday's too! Mommy is excited for me to go to Tiny Tykes. They do all sorts of activities and keep LOTS and LOTS of kids. So she thinks it will be more like "school" for me and I will learn a lot more about sharing with others and do a lot more "learning" while I'm away from home during the day. And of course, on Tuesday and Wednesday's I will continue to go to Nammo and Papa Gardner's house. Yippee!
Last Sunday, mommy, daddy and I spent the day playing in the backyard. I love, love, love the water and wheel table that the crazy Easter Bunny brought me. I play with it all the time. It was nice enough out and the sun was bright enough that I had to wear sunscreen and mommy put my baseball cap on to keep me from getting a sunburn on my head. She was skeptical of how long the hat would last, but I showed her, I left it on for two whole hours! HA, MOM! Hee-hee!
Mom and dad think I look super handsome in my baseball cap! I'm not too sure about this thing yet, but I will give it a try if it will keep them off my case! ;)
The water and wheel table wasn't the only thing the Easter Bunny brought me a few weeks ago (I'm still working on ALL THAT CANDY he brought me too)! This is a marshmallow "sucker" in the shape of a HOOT OWL! So yummy...I ate the ears first! Mommy and daddy say I look like I'm in a sugar induced coma/high in this picture because not only is the sucker marshmallow, it's also coated in sugar! YUM-YUM...SO GOOD!
MARSHMALLOW SUCKERS ARE SOOOOOOOO GOOD...YOU GUYS GOTTA TRY THIS!
"So daddy, what do you think of my marshmallow sucker? It's yummy, isn't it!??!"
So good...just....can't.....stop....eating....it!
"Here mommy, have a bit. I GUARANTEE you will LOVE IT!"
These are two videos of me enjoying my FIRST ever ice cream cone. Well okay, it really wasn't "mine" persay, mommy shared her ice cream cone with me. She had to teach me how to eat it but once I sort of got the hang of it, I LOVED IT. Cookies-n-cream ice cream on a yummy cone...how could that not be anything but DELICIOUS!?!?! So good! I think I will be eating A LOT more of those!
(In the bottom video, toward the end when mommy asks me if I like the ice cream and if it's "num-num," I use my manners and say "Yes, please!" Just thought I would clarify what I'm saying and that I am a very SWEET boy, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha...I think I have them fooled. Shhhhh...don't tell them)!

Thanks for looking in on me and my mom and dad friends! Hope everyone is having a wonderful end to their weekend and has a very good upcoming week! Talk to you later taters!

Ready, Set....Is It Time To Go Camping Yet????

After we got done playing with sidewalk chalk today, we went out to the Bell Camper to daydream about upcoming camping trips we want to take! I'm so excited...I've only been camping once and it was last summer before I could even walk! We had to leave early because it got too cold. Mommy and daddy are so excited about camping that I cannot help but be excited too...but if it involves the outdoors, you can COUNT ME IN!!! YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's see, we better make sure the stove works so momma can cook us up some breakfast while we are camping!

Daddy refinished the table in the camper...it looks so nice! He made it a little smaller too so we now we have some more room to get around inside the camper!
Well, looks like we have our camping plan together and everything is in working order. Just gotta get the linens washed up; stuff cleaned up and the camper stocked, then wait for the weather to warm up a little more! It needs to hurry up!!!!!
After we did stuff in the camper, daddy and I wrestled around in the front yard! I think I'm winning!!!! YES!!!!
I like the "pink too!" It's so fun to play in and mess with all the stuff and look out the windows! I cannot wait to start this new adventure in life with mommy and daddy! And maybe Nammo and Papa can come with us sometime in their camper! That would be so fun!

Saturday Sidewalk Chalk Fun

Greetings from the Gardner household. This week was a rough week around our house. Daddy & I both had the stomach flu. Gah-ross! Mommy came to get me up on Wednesday morning and I had gotten sick and ended up staying home with my dad during the morning and my mom during the afternoon. Then, on Thursday, I went to daycare and then spent the night with my Nammo and Papa Gardner because my daddy had a BAD case of the stomach flu (sorry daddy)! Now it's Saturday and everyone seems to be on the mend and back to normal (whatever that is, hee-hee)!Even though it was a little chilly and a bit breezy (I know, hard to believe that it is ever breezy in Kansas), daddy, mommy & I played outside for a little while! We drew lots of cool pictures on the sidewalk with these neat crayons called--SIDEWALK CHALK! Thanks Mee-maw & Pee-paw Chinn for the great Easter present!
Mommy drew this picture of daddy, mommy and I. I don't know, I think she forgot to draw a few things, like ears, hands, feet, CLOTHES....strange.
Daddy drew lots of sidewalk art today. He drew a TINK-TINK (the caterpillar from the beginning of the Baby Einstein videos), a banana, a butterfly AND a K-State Power Cat. He such a good artist....don't tell mommy, but he's definitely better than her! Shhhhh.......
I like to write on the steps.....so should my sidewalk chalk be called stairchalk? Or stepchalk
This is daddy's K-State Power Cat. Daddy graduated from K-State, the Power Cat (or Wildcat) is their mascot. Thank goodness it's not one of those Jayhawks.
Here's a video for you to enjoy of my mommy TRYING to get me to draw a picture on the sidewalk!

It was a tad bit GUSty today!

"Don't cha like my waddle?!??!?!" Gobble, gobble, gobble! :)
Kickin' back after a long, hard day at Nammo and Papa's house.....just lettin' my diaper hang out! Life is good.....

Oh the agony of being stuck in the house this evening. I'd rather be outside but the wind is blowing 55 mph! I wouldn't want to mess up my "do!"

"Oh God, I ate too much, I think I'm gonna spew!"

My mommy says that I am never allowed to go to Bourbon Street...I have no idea what that crazy woman is talking about!!!!!

With the power vested in me, as King of this castle, I now knight thee...."SIR DADDY!"

"Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail, Hoppin' Down The Bunny Trail"

Since Mee-maw and Pee-paw Chinn were leaving Saturday before Easter Sunday, the Easter Bunny decided to come to my house a day early so they could be here to see it! That Easter Bunny sure is a smart one! And look at all this stuff he brought me! This was the sight I woke up to when I came downstairs on Saturday morning (April 3rd, 2010)! "Awesome!" That's all I have to say about that!
Mee-maw and Pee-paw Chinn helping me open toy packaging from my Easter basket gifts!
So fun....I'm not even sure what to play with first, I love all my stuff so much! I got a bubble mower from Mee-maw and Pee-paw Chinn. They also got me sidewalk chalk; bubbles; candy; a foam airplane and a football. Great-Grandma Ruth gave me card with some money AND she came over on Easter Sunday to have dinner with us. Papa and Nammol Gardner sent me a card in the mail and gave me some money as well. The Easter Bunny brought me a watering can; a sand castle building set with gardening hand tools and a bucket and stuff to make a star and a turtle; more candy; a gardening set (hoe, rake and shovel) and a Crayola desktop for the bathtub. So cool, now I have plenty of stuff to play outside with AND I can color in the bathtub too! LOVE IT! And a big thank you to my grandparents, parents and the Easter Bunny. I love all the gifts and I love all of you!
Checking out the bubble mower. Sometimes you just gotta fix stuff to get it going again!
Pee-paw gave me the change from his pocket to put in my piggy bank (I mean, Tootsie Roll bank)! I think there was a million dollars in quarters! It was neat putting the quarters in one-by-one! Thanks for the dough Pee-paw!
Later Saturday morning (April 3rd, 2010), after Pee-paw and Mee-maw Chinn left, mommy took me to the grade school in Saint Francis to participate in the annual Easter egg hunt! This is a picture of the Easter bunny throwing out candy and eggs for the 1 to 2 year old kids to pick up and put in their Easter baskets. I got lots of good candy and we were allowed to pick up one plastic egg to claim after the egg hunt to get a PRIZE! My prize was a medium-sized orange ball. So cool!
Mee sitting on mommy's lap before the big Easter egg hunt! We were having so much fun visiting with all the other mommy's and daddy's and their kiddos too! I was so excited that I just took it all in. But one thing that DID NOT interest me was that dang Easter Bunny! He was a little weird and I did not want to sit on his lap or touch him. I just buried my head in momma's shoulder and looked away! Momma said the Easter Bunny was okay, but I don't know...I think momma may be wrong about that one!
Getting ready to hunt eggs! Whatever the heck that means! I don't know but it was FUN and exciting!
Filling up my basket with awesome mini-M&M's; Skittles; Fruit Snacks; Starburst AND the plastic egg so I could get a prize too!

Mee-maw and Pee-paw Chinn Came To Visit Me

Mee-maw and Pee-paw Chinn were here this past week to spend time with me! We had such a good time together....we took lots of walks and went to the store and played together! I loved having them here and am still asking for them two days after they went back home to Missouri.
Wagon riding is so much fun...it has finally been nice enough the past few weeks to get out the wagon Mee-maw and Pee-paw Chinn got me for Christmas. While Mee-maw and Pee-paw were here we took advantage of the nice weather and went on lots of wagon rides! Mee-maw seemed to really enjoy pulling me around town! Sometimes a boys life is just so rough! Hee-hee!I was giving Pee-paw Chinn the "look" because he was watching Fox News instead of paying attention to me! How dare he!
Ahhhh....enjoying the beautiful weather and playing in the park. I like the rocks, almost as much as the slide!
So much fun to pick up a handful of rocks and let them slip through your fingers. I love the feel and the noise it makes and also the dust it kicks up! Getting dirty is so much fun!
Me being too cute for my own good! :)
Yeah!!!! Sliding is the best thing that was ever invented! Going down on my tummy is awesome! And always having someone there to catch me rocks!
Daddy is sooooooo silly! Here he is trying to climb up the slide and "get me!" BUT his plan failed! Hee-hee! :)

It Has Been Awhile-Happy Spring!

Greetings everyone! Sorry it has been so long since I've reported in on daily life around the Gardner household! I promise to devote more time now that Spring has arrived! The Easter Bunny was supposed to bring me this water table (see the pic above) on Easter Sunday, but he got too excited and impatient and went ahead and gave me the table two weeks early! :) What an awesome guy that Easter Bunny is because I LOVE MY WATER TABLE!
Mashed potatoes and gravy-------YUMMY! So good! And even more fun to smear and write in on my tray! Mommy loves cleaning me up after eating them too!
A few weeks ago Kolby, Kylie and Unlce Moose came to visit and they stayed the night with us! It was so much fun! I especially loved playing with my cousin "Ky-you" (aka Kylie)! I was still wondering where she went for two or three days after she left!
Just a random, lazy Sunday loungin' with my mommy after I woke up from a nap.
Taking a break from playing at the park! Sometimes you just gotta take a load off!
Me and my daddy at the park......getting ready to slide! I'm not sure what face he's making....maybe he's scared to go down the slide?!?!?!
